#SeeAsAmStar is a multimedia project that uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to provide a living depiction of Asian American as the heroes, romantics, and leaders that Hollywood refuses to cast because it “can’t see” Asian movie stars.
In the three weeks since the project has launched, #SeeAsAmStar videos have received over 50,000 views.
With $0 media spend,#SeeAsAmStar has also received mainstream media attention from outlets such as The Huffington Post, Slate, South China Morning Post, DigitalSpy, and Inverse, among others.
